You can be part of giving every child a chance to know God’s love!
It’s no secret.
Children are under attack.
There is an all-out assault on the hearts and minds of children today. Even young children are being influenced by the evils of our culture. The enemy is working to destroy the minds, hearts, and lives of this generation.
Did you know that believers can legally bring the gospel right to children in local public elementary schools? This is an incredible opportunity to change history for eternity.

The “4-14 Window” represents the largest, most reachable, and most spiritually open people group—children between the ages of 4 and 14, and God has given us a window to reach this generation. During this key time, a child’s heart and mind are most receptive to the Gospel and a Christian worldview. We have an opportunity to plant the seed of the Gospel and give them the ability to experience the supernatural power of God. Jesus is the only answer that can heal broken homes and hearts, but they need to see genuine, life-changing faith.

Why after-school Bible Clubs?
With the majority of children going to public school, Bible Clubs provide an unparalleled avenue to connect with children and give them encouragement and hope through the good news of the gospel. We have the opportunity to share the truth and help protect them from dangerous worldviews and unbiblical beliefs.

How Bible Club Works
It’s completely legal.
A Bible Club is an after-school program in public elementary schools that is 100% legal. Schools that allow outside after-school activities cannot discriminate against religious programs. Bible Club is completely voluntary to attend, so as long as parents give consent, children are allowed to come.
Bible Clubs take place within the school campus.
After-school Bible Clubs take place on school grounds, such as in a gym or cafeteria. Since the school is a familiar place, this helps the kids and their parents to feel more comfortable. Removing the burden of transportation also allows more children to attend.
A small investment makes a huge difference.
Having at least 8–12 volunteers is recommended, but the more you have, the more kids you can reach! Most Bible Clubs run for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, once per week.

Lasting Impact

Kyle Fisher
“Nothing like this had been done in our area before, and it just lined up so perfectly with our church’s vision: to see young, unchurched families reached with the gospel. I can’t say enough about the In The Gap training — the way that I’ve been equipped to interact with kids, to use what God has given me to bring the Bible to life — these things are so valuable.”

Ryan Stephens
“In The Gap started a Bible Club at my school to teach us about Jesus — who He was, what He did, and why He’s worth it. I had no idea the importance or impact that this Bible Club was going to have on my life. After I gave my life to Christ, I realized how much of a difference this was going to be in my life, for the rest of my life.”

Roe Worbes

“I am ecstatic about our Bible Club . . . It’s very close to my heart. It’s here to serve the kids eternally. I’ve heard my whole life as a teacher, that we’ve taken God out of school. But I tell you, God is in our public school! I’m so excited about this opportunity to teach our kids right from wrong and tie it strictly to the Bible, Jesus, salvation, and eternal life.”

Nikki Coshow
“If there’s one after-school program I’d fight for at my school, it would be In The Gap Bible Clubs. Our best attendance is on Wednesday, the day Bible Club happens. And we can see the impact on the whole school overall. On an average year, we might have over 300 suspensions by this time — so far this year we’ve had only 20!”
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this even legal? What about separation between church and state?
Yes, it’s 100% legal! The Supreme Court issued a ruling in 2001 which stated that if a school allowed any after-school programs on its premises, it could not discriminate against religious programming. Because Bible Club is an after-school program, it’s completely voluntary to attend, which means that as long as the parents give their consent, the children are allowed to come.
Where is Bible Club held?
Bible Club is held once a week on the school campus, typically in the library, gym, cafeteria, or in a classroom.
What time is Bible Club?
Bible Club is between 1.5 and 2 hours long. It typically starts between 3:00pm and 3:30pm, right after school dismissal, and ends between 4:30pm and 5:00pm.
How many volunteers are needed for a club?
To start Bible Club, you will need 8–12 volunteers. We recommend having one volunteer for every 5–8 children who attend. The more volunteers you have, the more children can attend!
